To use this expansion for Fields of Arle, simply add it to your existing game. First, include the new components like the tea tokens and new ships. You can start the game with three players. Give each worker a tea when they need an energy boost to do more actions. When trading or fishing, use the new ships for better results. As for maintenance, keep the cards and tokens in a dry place. Avoid bending the cards. If they get dirty, gently wipe them with a soft cloth. Don't expose the game to direct sunlight for long, as it may fade the colors.
