Groo The Game by SJG, Strategy Board Game

In Groo: The Game, players race to construct a big town first by using building cards that earn them victory points. It's not a walk in the park, though. Other players' wild armies and the random visits of Groo the Wanderer, decided by dice rolls, can throw a spanner in the works. But dice rolls can also give players resources for building and 'Groo heads' to harm those unlucky enough to have Groo in their village. The cards, illustrated by the amazing Sergio Aragonés, feature Groo and his friends and enemies. Players can also raise armies to attack rival cities. It's easy to learn, plays in less than an hour, and offers great fun for 2 to 6 players.

To play Groo: The Game, start by giving each player a set of building cards and dice. Your goal is to be the first to build a large town by playing the building cards to earn victory points. Roll the dice to see if Groo the Wanderer shows up or to get resources and 'Groo heads'. Use resources to build your town and 'Groo heads' to attack other players' villages. You can also develop armies to attack other players' cities. The game should finish in under an hour. When storing the game, keep the cards in a dry place to prevent damage. And remember, have fun and enjoy the strategic battles with your friends!
